# How to Buy

**Prerequisites:** 

Crypto Wallet: Ensure you have a crypto wallet compatible with Solana BlockChain (SOL), like Phantom or Solflare Wallet. 

Solana (SOL): Have Solana Coin (SOL) in your wallet for the purchase and to cover transaction fees (gas). Steps to Purchase Fudge Coin: Wallet Setup:

If you don’t have a wallet, download and install a compatible wallet like Phantom or Solflare Wallet. Create a new wallet or import an existing one. Ensure your wallet is connected to the Solana chain network. 

**Acquire Solana Coin (SOL):**

Purchase SOL from a cryptocurrency straight from your phantom wallet via moonpay. 

**Connect Your Wallet to Raydium:**

Visit Raydium. Click on “Connect Wallet” and select your wallet provider. Follow the prompts to connect your wallet. Swap SOL for Fudge Coin:

Once connected, go to the “Exchange” or “Swap” section on Raydium. In the “From” field, select SOL. In the “To” field, select Fudge Coin. If Fudge Coin is not listed, you may need to enter the Token address of Fudge Coin manually. Enter the amount of SOL you want to swap for Fudge Coin. Adjust Slippage Tolerance (if necessary):

Click on the settings icon near the exchange box. Set the slippage tolerance (usually 0.5% - 1% is enough, but it might be higher for new tokens). Confirm the Swap:

Review the transaction details, including any fees and the expected amount of Fudge Coin. Click on “Swap” to confirm the transaction. Confirm the Transaction in Your Wallet:

A prompt will appear in your wallet asking you to confirm the transaction, including gas fees. Confirm and finalize the transaction. Transaction Processing:

Wait for the transaction to be processed on the Solana network. This can take from a few seconds to a few minutes. Once confirmed, Fudge Coin will be added to your wallet. 

**Post-Purchase:** 

Add Fudge Coin to wallet. If Fudge Coin doesn’t automatically appear in your wallet, you may need to add it manually using its contract address. Secure Your Investment: Always back up your wallet and keep your recovery phrase in a safe place. 

**Important Considerations:** 

Network Congestion - During times of high network traffic, transactions may take longer and require higher gas fees.
